Mr.Ramírez: Prints

Pullover shirt, blazer, and trousers from H&M. Scarf from Aldo. Square pocket from Mr.Nieves. Socks from Florsheim. Shoes from Zara.

If you are looking to make a big difference in your wardrobe and pop out your style immediately, I recommend to start using prints on prints. Yes a lot of PRINTS! Funky or classic it doesn’t matter, just be ready to play with colors and shapes. On this outfit I decided to used an ethnic printed square pocket from Mr.Nieves spring-summer 2015. The main color on the square pocket is chartreuse so I mixed up with some pieces in the green color palette. I put on a dark green tartan scarf with multicolored stripes socks. The checks and the stripes complement the tribal print on the square pocket, which is the one that stands outThe brogue shoes and the grey shades from the jacket and trousers finish the idea of a stylish semi-casual look. Dare to take the risk and live in prints!!!

Editorial: Sexy Icon

Here is my new fashion story for the special edition of Vivan Las Curvas from Veintitantos Magazine November issue 2015. Photographed by the amazing Enrique Vega in the streets of Manhattan, we used the iconic image of Brigitte Bardot as the inspiration for the shoot. Black, red and leopard prints added some sexiness in body conscious pieces that reveled a strong and confident style for plus size women's.

Mr.Ramírez: Orange is The New Black

Jacket and loafers from Zara. Oxford shirt and trousers from H&M. Michael Kors messenger bag. Ray-Ban shades.

Yes it is! Orange is the new black… at least during October were everything turns into this color. Seeing it on pumpkins, candies, beers, trees and Halloween decorations all over the city inspires me to wear it. I was looking into my wardrobe and I noticed that I didn’t have any piece in this hue. #FAIL. So I did a retail therapy kind of thing and looked for something fallish and pumpkinlicious. I found this cool dark camel jacket with orange sleeves and a Michael Kors camo messenger bag that definitely put me back on trend for the month. #WIN!!! I paired with an oxford light blue shirt, skinny chinos and comfy suede loafers. Smart details always complement the look. Even though it was obvious that ginger wasn’t my favorite tone, I suddenly started to like October’s favorite one!
